Allergic asthma treatment that works

For the last week, I’ve been drinking my hot asthma drink every morning because my symptoms have been extra severe. (I tend to have more trouble in the early summer as the weather gets so humid.)

What I’ve found, though, is that when I drink that every morning, and stick with my apple a day routine, I feel about 70% better. But I knew I could feel even better than that, so I set aside my distaste for the neti pot and pulled mine out a few days ago.

It’s just as gross as I remembered, and it makes my throat sore just the way I remembered… But it seems to be working really well. My breathing is significantly improved, and this morning I was even able to head out for a nice, long run. So, tonight, I’m going to jump into an Epsom salt bath for my muscles right after using the neti pot. And, for the next few days at least, I’ll be sticking with my natural allergic asthma treatment process of hot drink, apple, and neti pot.

Hiya! I'm Jess. I was diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma about two years ago.

Since then, I've found that my asthma symptoms are a great barometer of just how well I'm taking care of myself. On days when I practice self care, I breathe easier than on days when I don't.

Now that I've gotten a handle on my own symptoms I wanted to create a place where I could share what's worked for me and hear from *you* on what helps to treat your allergic asthma symptoms. Welcome to my site. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
