The 2 most important words in healing allergic asthma

Wondering what the two most important words are in healing allergic asthma? They’re simple: It’s possible.

Asthma is largely thought to be partly an emotional disease. And I know I can relate to that–when I’m stressed, my allergic asthma symptoms flare up.

So, if allergic asthma does indeed have an emotional component–if it is indeed impacted by the way you’re feeling–it stands to reason that one of the first things you have to do to heal allergic asthma is *believe* it’s possible to breathe better.

This is the whole reason I started this site, because as I learned how to improve my allergic asthma symptoms and was so excited that it was do-able, I wanted to offer encouragement and support to people who needed to to know for themselves that this is possible–you can heal your allergic asthma and breathe easier. And it’s been such a pleasure so far, I’m already getting emails from visitors who are so grateful that the site is helping them breathe better.

So, please, please hear me when I say: it’s possible. It’s possible for you. It’s possible for me. We can heal our allergic asthma–in fact, I’m already doing it, and just by being here on this site, you’re taking a big step to do the same. I know I’m proud of us, how about you? 😉

Something that I find helps when my allergic asthma symptoms have been exacerbated (for instance, I recently moved and the dust and stress of the move definitely made my allergic asthma flare up) is to remind myself that it’s a process and I’m making progress. It’s not something that happens overnight, although I’ve made big leaps in health very quickly. It’s something that takes time–after all, we’re healing our bodies here and that’s not something that we ought to rush.

So, when your allergic asthma feels like it’ll be your constant, grueling companion, and it’s bringing you to your knees, just gently remind yourself that it’s possible. And you’re already doing it. You’re healing your breathing. And it’s such a pleasure to get to witness that!

Hiya! I'm Jess. I was diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma about two years ago.

Since then, I've found that my asthma symptoms are a great barometer of just how well I'm taking care of myself. On days when I practice self care, I breathe easier than on days when I don't.

Now that I've gotten a handle on my own symptoms I wanted to create a place where I could share what's worked for me and hear from *you* on what helps to treat your allergic asthma symptoms. Welcome to my site. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
