Lymph System and Asthma

I’ve been doing a lot of research lately into the lymph system and the way it ties into breathing difficulties. Turns out, they have a lot in common and according to at least one site, a sluggish lymph system often expresses itself in breathing and sinus congestion. Since stress takes an enormous toll on your lymph system, it seems logical to conclude that this is one more reason why, if you have asthma, you need to have practices to reduce stress and take good care of yourself.

What can you do to improve your lymph system health? There are *lots* of things, including:

  • Dry body brushing
  • Aerobic exercise (especially rebounding)
  • Eating fresh pineapple (yum!)–especially the heart
  • Strength training
  • Massage (if you needed an excuse to head to the spa, use this one)

As I do more research into keeping my lymph system healthy, I’ll be sharing it here, especially if I see the changes I make making a difference in my allergic asthma symptoms. Make sure to subscribe to the site or check back often to get the latest!

Hiya! I'm Jess. I was diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma about two years ago.

Since then, I've found that my asthma symptoms are a great barometer of just how well I'm taking care of myself. On days when I practice self care, I breathe easier than on days when I don't.

Now that I've gotten a handle on my own symptoms I wanted to create a place where I could share what's worked for me and hear from *you* on what helps to treat your allergic asthma symptoms. Welcome to my site. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
